Of a wide quarry of hundreds of boys who compose the school of the group, 'Queixumes dos pinos' is formed by forty young people who compose the titular group of versatile musicians and dancers.
The shows of Queixumes dos pinos have a great visual wealth thanks to the different costumes of which they do soiree, as well as to the different utensils that they use to enrich the dances.
The wealth is also sonorous, since the public can enjoy a wide variety of melodies and rhythms touched by bagpipes, accordion, guitar and different instruments of traditional percussion always in direct. All this accompanied by songs interpreted by the formations of cantareiros and cantareiras that 'Queixumes dos pinos' has in his rows.
'Queixumes dos pinos' has performed on stages all over Europe, in festivals, auditoriums and theaters, from Finland to Cyprus, Serb, Poland, Greece, Germany, Austria and other tens of countries, presenting his shows also in France or, Italy. This offers him a wide international recognition translated even into prizes as the Nicholas Green.
As group, 'Queixumes dos pinos' is also integrated by other groups as 'Árdelle o eixe', 'Sons do Miño' and 'Chispiños', as well as all the school that the group has divided up into headquarters by different schools and associations of the province of Ourense so that all the ages and all the levels have his place.
But 'Queixumes dos pinos' it is not only one group of dance, is also a cultural and social association that develops every type of acts and activities, always related to galician culture, in Ourense, in other places of Galicia and all over the world.
