Queixumes dos pinos was founded in 1994 by José Antonio Viñas in A Derrasa (Pereiro de Aguiar, Ourense) with the aim of collecting, spreading and giving impulse to the Galician popular folklore.
Throughout all his trajectory, the group has worked infinity of choreographies and subjects of traditional character that came representing in different shows that his components presented in the best scenarios of Ourense, as well as in other places of the Galician geography.
Besides, Queixumes dos pinos has been spreading its dances all over Europe, taking his shows of great musical wealth to countries as Finland, Cyprus, Rumania or Germany, being converted like this in authentic ambassadors of the galician cultural tradition out of Spain's frontiers.
